Served as Project Manager for design and deployment of an order fulfillment process for a custom make-to-order automatic door manufacturer.

·               Implemented QAD’s MfgPro version 8.6 on an HP/UX platform.  QAD modules included all Distribution, Manufacturing, and Financial Modules.

·               Procured and implemented a rules-based product configurator, TRW’s Procon.  This configurator was integrated into MfgPro and served as the foundation linking front- and back-office activities.

·                                       This fulfillment process allowed for quick and accurate costing of products and also demonstrated configurations that were not possible to manufacture.  Also, allowed customer service representatives and branch managers to track sales orders from receipt of order to shipment.

 

Held position as an Information Technology Manager providing strategic leadership and technical direction.  Concurrently was responsible for managing order entry, master scheduling, and material planning departments. Developed planning parts and bills of material providing material planners with a forecast needed to conduct business simulations.  This program eliminated part shortages throughout the business.

 

Designed and deployed a data warehouse with web access.  Red Hat Linux 6.2 operating system with an Oracle database.  Web development in the following languages: HTML, Perl DBD/DBI, PHP and SQL.

 

Served as Project Manager to procure and install a Call Center environment for Customer Service and Technical Product Support personnel.

·               Coordinated efforts to upgrade phone system to Merlin Magix hardware and software platform.

·               Installed Smart Connect Call Center Environment.  This allowed for call queuing and auto-attendants.  This system was used to create performance metrics of telephone support personnel resulting in improved customer satisfaction.
