Served as Project Manager for design and deployment of an order fulfillment process for a custom make-to-order automatic door manufacturer. · Implemented QAD’s MfgPro version 8.6 on an HP/UX platform. QAD modules included all Distribution, Manufacturing, and Financial Modules. · Procured and implemented a rules-based product configurator, TRW’s Procon. This configurator was integrated into MfgPro and served as the foundation linking front- and back-office activities. · This fulfillment process allowed for quick and accurate costing of products and also demonstrated configurations that were not possible to manufacture. Also, allowed customer service representatives and branch managers to track sales orders from receipt of order to shipment. |
